BTA UK and Link Hospital Gwalior forge ties to launch top-class medical educational prog

The BAPIO Training Academy, UK in collaboration with Link Hospital, Gwalior invited applications for the MRCP/MRCGP plus MBA programme to commence soon.

With the objective to impart top-class medical education and world-class practices, The BAPIO Training Academy UK has drawn up plans to penetrate the Central India region. To make inroads there, The BAPIO Training Academy, UK in collaboration with Link Hospital, Gwalior invited applications for the MRCP/MRCGP plus MBA programme to commence soon.

Explaining the key Features of the programme, Prof ParagSinghal, Consultant – Endocrinologist, Executive Director – BTA; Founder & Chair, Indo-UK Programe informed that at the end of the programme, theit will be a two-year structured training in Internal Medicine at Link Hospital. The biggest attraction would be at the end of the programme candidate will receive an MBA in Healthcare and Leadership as well. 

Prof Singhal further explained that this programme will be followed by 2 years of training at a partner NHS Trust in the UK. Today the BTA has a partnership with 25 reputed Trusts in the UK.

Prof Singhal elaborated that the programme will benefit visiting candidates as BTA will support doctors preparation for MRCP part 1.  In addition Top up Onsite training by expert UK Faculty will be offered, he assured . The programme exempts doctors from appearing for the PLAB examinations thus making their route in the UK easier. On completion of the course candidates have a choice they can return to India with MRCP and MBA qualifications or pursue a career in the UK.

BAPIO Training Academy forges ties with Uttar Pradesh

The BAPIO Training Academy Limited, UK’s premier educational institute led by BAPIO (British Physicians of Indian origin) has entered into collaboration with the state government of Uttar Pradesh in India with the aim of developing and providing world-class training and exchange programmes for doctors and nurses in the state of India to meet the growing demands of effective and safe delivery of emergency care.

The UP state government health department officials and  Prof Dr Parag Singhal, Executive Director-BTA, National Secretary-BAPIO, signed a MoU in Uttar Pradesh. The delegation was felicitated by the UP state’s Finance Minister and Minister of Parliamentary  Affairs Suresh Kumar Khanna.

BTA with its Indian partners aim to set up an advanced Emergency Medicine institute as part of the Indo-U.K. collaboration where the state doctors will receive excellent training in EM.

The State government officials and the minister said, “with this partnership we are taking a step forward in delivering and strengthening our commitment to promoting a continuous learning platform for our health care workers, enabling them to have access to outstanding learning tools from BAPIO Training Academy and an opportunity to get mentored and trained as per international protocols working alongside some of the most distinguished professionals in the UK.”

On his recent visit to the state as a part of the delegation with the Defence Minister of the UK Alexander Chalk and on occasion of signing the MoU , Dr Parag Singhal, Executive Director at BTA said , “This  partnership with the UP state government is aimed at bridging the gaps in understanding of research, medical advancements, creating training and exchange programmes to benefit the trainees and both the countries- India and the UK.” He said, “BTA curriculum will be delivered by professionals who have been trained in world class NHS hospitals. Modules on patient safety are incorporated in the course enabling trainees to practice the same in real life hence improving patient outcome.”
