Actor Arjun Bijlani believes in evolving his style while staying true to what suits him best.
Arjun, who is currently seen in the show ‘Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyaya: Shiv Shakti’, said: “It’s about adapting current trends in a way that compliments my personality. I enjoy adding my personal touch to outfits to make them uniquely mine. Also, I love adding some accessories to my look.”
Arjun believes that fashion is all about expressing yourself creatively.
“Fashion, to me, is a way to express myself creatively and also adapt to the current trends. It’s all about feeling confident in what I wear and reflecting my personality through my style choices,” he said.
When it comes to styling his characters, attention to detail is crucial for Arjun to get into the character.
“The outfit my character wears is important because it helps me get into the role. When I wear outfits that align with my character’s personality, it enhances my performance by making me feel more connected to the role,” he said.
Talking about his wardrobe choices, Arjun said he maintains a balance between style and ease.
“It’s a balance between fashion and comfort for me. While I enjoy experimenting with new and different styles and trends, comfort is important to me, especially during long shooting hours. If I’m comfortable, I can focus better on my scenes,” he says.
For Arjun, having different looks for different occasions is essential.
“I try to dress according to the place I am. For example, if I am on a vacation, I am mostly going to be in my PJs or sandos and shorts. If I am on a yacht, I would like to wear pants with a printed shirt or a simple jacket which wore recently. And obviously, for weddings or festivals, traditional attire works the best. Shades are a must (haha),” he added.
The music video was shot in Morocco and directed by Abderrafia…reports Asian Lite News
Choreographer Rajit Dev has opened up about choreographing actress Nora Fatehi’s new song titled ‘Nora’, sharing that it has a fusion of styles from three countries — Morocco, commercial hip-hop from Canada, and Indian traditional style.
In the last few years, the duo, Nora and Rajit, have given hits like ‘Zaalim’, ‘Pachtaoge’, ‘Chhor Denge’, ‘Dirty Little Secret’, the ‘FIFA World Cup anthem’, and ‘Pepeta’.
Talking about their newest collaboration, Rajit shared: “This is Nora’s first international song and an introduction to a wider audience globally. The concept is about Nora, who is Moroccan by blood, who was raised in Canada and then made her career in the Indian film industry. She speaks about all these different cultures and how countries unite through art. It’s about her journey, how it started, and what she wants to achieve.”
The music video was shot in Morocco and directed by Abderrafia.
Rajit shared: “The song is very unique, it has a lot of Moroccan percussion. It’s more towards Moroccan culture, yet she wanted to integrate her Canadian and Indian styles. So, my brief was to make a fusion of all the styles from these three countries. The choreography has three parts — commercial hip-hop depicting Canada, I have used a lot of Indian traditional styles to make the Indian sequence; and Moroccan style. Especially in the hook step, I have used garba because the sound made me move like that.”

Invest in a good pair of leather gloves, a stylish scarf, and a hat that complements your overall look. These accessories not only add flair to your outfit but also provide essential warmth. Choose accessories in neutral tones or classic patterns to maintain a professional appearance…reports Asian Lite News
As the temperature drops and winter settles in, the challenge of maintaining a professional appearance while staying warm becomes a top priority for many working individuals.
While the weather calls for transitioning from comfortable and cool to comfortable and snugish; it is entirely possible to look polished and put together even in the coldest weather.
Here’s a guide outlined by Latika Kapoor, Styling Head, of FS Life to help you navigate the world of professional winter attire.
Layer Smartly: Layering is the key to staying warm without compromising your professional image. Start with a thermal or silk base layer to trap heat close to your body. Add a stylish sweater or cardigan as your mid-layer, and finish with a tailored coat or blazer for a sophisticated look. This strategy allows you to adjust your clothing according to the fluctuating indoor and outdoor temperatures.
Invest in Quality Outerwear: Your winter coat is a crucial element of your work wardrobe during the colder months. Opt for a well-structured, insulated coat in a neutral color like black, camel, or gray. A tailored wool coat or a classic trench can seamlessly complement your professional attire while keeping you warm during your commute and outdoor activities.
Accessorize Thoughtfully: Accessories are not just for style—they serve a practical purpose in winter workwear. Invest in a good pair of leather gloves, a stylish scarf, and a hat that complements your overall look. These accessories not only add flair to your outfit but also provide essential warmth. Choose accessories in neutral tones or classic patterns to maintain a professional appearance.
Opt for Season-Appropriate Fabrics: Selecting the right fabrics is crucial for winter workwear. Fabrics like wool, cashmere, and tweed are not only warm but also exude a professional aesthetic. Cotrise and suede are fabrics that are anticipated to make a big deal this season. Incorporate these materials into your wardrobe with tailored trousers, skirts, and blazers for a polished and warm ensemble.
Tailored Fit Matters: A well-tailored outfit not only looks more professional but also helps to trap heat close to your body. Ensure that your winter workwear fits you properly, especially if you are layering. Tailored jackets, pants, and dresses not only enhance your appearance but also contribute to better insulation.
Experiment with Dark Colors: Dark colors have a slimming effect and are also more forgiving in terms of hiding any winter-related stains or dirt. Incorporate a mix of black, navy, and charcoal into your winter wardrobe for a professional and practical approach.
Don’t Forget Indoor Attire: Remember that you’ll be spending a significant portion of your day indoors. Choose clothing that is easy to layer and de-layer as you move between indoor and outdoor spaces. Avoid heavy, cumbersome outerwear that may be uncomfortable when worn inside.
Navigating winter workwear doesn’t have to be a daunting task. By strategically layering, investing in quality outerwear, accessorizing thoughtfully, choosing warm yet stylish footwear, opting for season-appropriate fabrics, prioritizing a tailored fit, experimenting with dark colors, and considering indoor attire, you can maintain a professional and polished look throughout the colder months. Most importantly, be thoughtful about your body type and pick your attire accordingly. Always make sure to embrace your body and style rather than hoping onto trends set by influencers etc.

Payal Pratap brought a modern adaptation of craft on sustainable fashion day
“The Soft Parade” collection by Payal Pratap on Sustainable Fashion Day was an ode to the glorious and abundant craft of Kutch with contemporary accents.
The fabric base was a mélange of handloom linen, woven stripes, and chambray weaves, while the luxe silks, Chanderies as well and Bandhani prints on silk complemented the presentation. Keeping the inspiration intact, the myriad stitches inspired by ancient Kedias were reworked into detailed asymmetric patterns that featured some geometry as well as floral motifs and a dollop of shine.
Payal also extensively explored the intricate beauty of patchwork in modern and abstract motifs of nature. It was a great festival of craft as the collection brought together the old with the new of Bandhani, appliqué, multiple hand-stitched techniques along with abstract rose motifs that were juxtaposed to create a carpet of patterns. Adding more excitement to the embellishments, Payal created designs of bird chintz, flowers, and Tree of Life patterns.
The colors of Kutch brought to life the apparel, as a tinge of red was merged with varying shades of blue, neutral ivories, and blacks to form a palette of multicolour hues. The silhouettes were characteristic of Gujarat and appeared in perfect unison on the runway. Asymmetric wrap skirts, swirling long and short kedia-inspired jackets, relaxed dresses, and comfy lungi pants created a fashionable tapestry for the line.
Ensuring that the collection offered a comprehensive fashion look that moved from head-to-toe wardrobe solutions from day to night, Payal designed handmade footwear, which featured Bandhani brogue patterns, while the semi-precious stone jewellery gave the ensembles the added glitter.

Ethnic wear comes in a wide variety of fabrics, each with its own unique texture and drape…writes Aaliya Deeba
With its rich heritage, vibrant colours, intricate designs, and timeless silhouettes, Indian ethnic wear offers a myriad of possibilities to express your personal style. Whether it’s a dazzling saree, a regal lehenga, or an exquisitely embroidered kurta, embracing ethnic wear allows you to embark on a sartorial journey that is both visually captivating and culturally significant.
Play with Colours: Indian wear is known for its vibrant and rich colours. Experiment with bold and contrasting color combinations to make a statement. For example, pair a bright-colored saree or lehenga with a contrasting blouse or dupatta to create a striking look.
Mix Traditional and Modern Elements: Blend traditional Indian elements with modern fashion trends to create a unique and contemporary style. For instance, team a traditional embroidered kurta with jeans or a fusion saree with a crop top for a modern twist.
Accessorize Wisely: Pay attention to accessories as they can elevate your ethnic outfit. Opt for traditional jewelry like jhumkas (Indian earrings), statement necklaces, bangles, or anklets to add a touch of glamour. Choose accessories that complement your outfit and enhance its overall appeal.
Experiment with Fabrics: Ethnic wear comes in a wide variety of fabrics, each with its own unique texture and drape. Try different fabrics like silk, chiffon, georgette, or organza to add depth and visual interest to your ensemble. Experimenting with fabrics can bring a fresh perspective to your traditional outfits.
Focus on Blouse Designs: The blouse is an essential component of many ethnic outfits like sarees and lehengas. Instead of sticking to regular blouse designs, try experimenting with unique cuts, necklines, back designs, or sleeve patterns. Intricate detailing, like embroidery or embellishments, can make your blouse stand out.
Layering with Jackets or Capes: Layering can add an interesting dimension to your ethnic attire. Consider pairing your outfit with a beautifully embroidered jacket or a cape to create a stylish and regal look. These layers not only provide warmth but also make a fashion statement.
Statement Dupattas: A dupatta is a long scarf-like fabric that accompanies many traditional Indian outfits. Instead of draping it conventionally, try unique draping styles or make it the focal point of your ensemble. Opt for a statement dupatta with intricate embroidery, embellishments, or bold prints to add drama to your outfit.
Experiment with Pant styles: Explore different bottom wear options to complement your ethnic outfits. Instead of traditional salwars or churidars, try palazzos, dhoti pants, or culottes for a contemporary and fashionable look. These alternatives can bring a fresh and unique twist to your ensemble.
Pay Attention to Footwear: Complete your look with the right footwear. Traditional footwear like juttis, mojaris, or kolhapuris can add an authentic touch to your outfit. Opt for designs that match or contrast with your attire, depending on the look you want to achieve.
Confidence and Grace: Lastly, the most important aspect of glamming up your fashion style with ethnic wear is to wear it with confidence and grace. No matter what you choose to wear, carry yourself with poise, and let your personality shine through. Confidence is the key to making any outfit look stylish and appealing.
Along with wearables, new fabrics, and materials have opened up fresh opportunities for fashion design. Intelligent fabrics that are capable of much more than just covering our bodies have been made possible by advancements in fabric technology…. reports Dhruv Taneja
Technology and the fashion industry have always looked to be on completely different wavelengths. While technology is linked to innovation, efficiency, and utility, fashion stands for the art of self-expression, creativity, and personal flair. But recently, these seemingly unrelated professions have come together, creating an intriguing and revolutionary junction of style and invention. The fusion of fashion and technology has revolutionized how we dress and created a world of intriguing new possibilities.
The advent of wearable technology is one of the most obvious examples of the blending of fashion and technology. Wearable technology has developed from simple gadgets to stylish items that are integrated into our daily lives. These gadgets, which range from smart glasses that offer augmented reality experiences to smartwatches that monitor our fitness and health parameters, are concurrently altering how we connect with technology and fashion.
Along with wearables, new fabrics, and materials have opened up fresh opportunities for fashion design. Intelligent fabrics that are capable of much more than just covering our bodies have been made possible by advancements in fabric technology. Today, it is possible to create fabrics that can control body temperature, keep track of vital indicators, and even emit light or alter colour. The fascinating possibilities from the marriage of fashion and technology include dresses that change color to fit your mood or jackets that regulate their warmth based on the outside temperature.
The shopping experience has changed dramatically as a result of technology’s incorporation into fashion. Online marketplaces and smartphone applications have developed into essential tools for fashion fans, offering a practical method to find, try on, and buy apparel and accessories. Customers may virtually try on clothing, see how they might appear in various designs, and customize their purchasing experiences thanks to augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) technology. The precision of size and fit is improved by these technologies, which also help businesses lessen the environmental effect of unnecessary returns and trash.
The development of technology has also benefited sustainability, a topic that is becoming more and more significant in the fashion sector. To lessen the negative environmental effects of the fashion industry, novel methods, and materials have been created. Technology is promoting a more circular and sustainable fashion business, from the 3D printing of clothing to the usage of recycled and bio-based materials. Blockchain technology is also being investigated to improve traceability and transparency in the supply chain, assuring moral business practices and employees receive fair treatment.
Technology and fashion, formerly thought to be entirely unconnected, have now come together to form an alluring and ground-breaking synergy. The confluence of fashion and innovation has revolutionized how we dress and opened up a world of exciting possibilities.
The ways that technology and fashion interact have changed fashion’s presentation and consumption, in addition to its design and manufacturing. With the help of live streaming and virtual reality experiences, fashion shows—once private occasions reserved for industry insiders—have become increasingly open to all people. Social media platforms have developed into effective tools for fashion firms to promote their designs, interact with customers, and get real-time feedback.
Future possibilities are even more intriguing as the interplay between fashion and technology continues to develop. Algorithms for artificial intelligence and machine learning may be used to study customer preferences and trends, resulting in more specialized suggestions and experiences. Real-time health monitoring might be made possible by incorporating sensors and networking in clothing, offering useful information for healthcare prevention. Additionally, the fusion of fashion and technology may inspire fresh partnerships between designers, engineers, and scientists, leading to ground-breaking breakthroughs that go beyond our present capacity for conception.
Today, rather than being two distinct fields, fashion, and technology are mutually reinforcing factors. The combination of fashion and innovation can completely alter how we shop, wear, and see fashion. In this area, innovation, usability, and sustainability come together to open new possibilities. The future seems very bright for those at the vanguard of this dynamic and revolutionary alliance as fashion and technology continue to cross; the only restriction is our imagination.

Summer Hair Care Tips And Tricks
As our busy lifestyle often deprives us of a proper hair care regime, Adhuna also shared some insightful tipsfor helping us attain gorgeous tresses that turn heads this spring-summer.
Cold shower followed by drying for smoother and shinier hair: Blast your hair with a cold shower (after shampooing) as hot water not only damages our skin but also our hair and scalp. Cold shower will seal the cuticles and make hair shinier, stronger, and smoother. However, don’t keep your hair wet for long as hair is more fragile in this state.
Extreme heat is detrimental: Choosing the right temperature is of utmost importance while styling. The Dyson haircare range is equipped with intelligent heat control to maintain optimum temperatures and prevent extreme heat damage. Do not forget using a heat protectant before styling your hair.
Say yes to updos: Nobody likes their hair falling on their face during the summer. Hence it is ideal to opt for hairstyles like braids, messy updos and ponytails. These hairstyles are also great to camouflage an oily scalp.
Hair Massage + treatments = shiny hair: The action of the massage/ brushing stimulates the blood circulation which feeds the root of the hair and helps maintain healthier hair and scalp. Hair massage needs to be done at least two or three times a week. A good hair massage also helps the nutrients to efficiently reach the hair follicles. Hair treatments are also a great way to nourish your hair and improve its shine and condition. Apply a hair treatment at least once a week or as recommended by your stylist.
Volume, volume and some more volume: Who doesn’t like to add some volume to their hair, especially in the crown area? If you are tackling flat hair, then use the round volumizing brush to add volume to your hair. It can also be used to seamlessly sweep bangs away from the face to provide volume and create the desired style. Another way of adding volume to your hair is by layering the crown area,
Prepare, Style and Fix: After spending hours styling your hair, sometimes your hairstyle or curls may loosen up. If this describes you, then you may be missing one of the most important steps, i.e., setting your hairstyle with a lightweight setting spray or cold shot. Our hair often sets in the same position as it cools down. Hence the correct procedure for styling your hair should be – style your hair using the Dyson AirwrapTM multi-styler, set your curls/hairstyle using cold shot, pin up your curls for 5-10 mins and finish off with a setting spray. You can go with styling products that fit your hair type, length and thickness.

Bijlee’s Random Order featured music that was evocative of bygone times, from lyrical to musicality, and it drew inspiration from that time period. DJ Masha, who is renowned for her varied aesthetic, offered party music with its own special appeal that was twisting, strange, and unpredictable.
The culinary affaire was a palette of passions celebrating the two worlds through creative food expressions of memory, ingredients, and technique, by innovative F&B brands in the country and internationally acclaimed bar and mixologist. While the concept of memory evoked nostalgia, technique deployed unconventional gastronomical craft, and ingredients were those that have stood tall across generations. Chef Eric Sifu of KOKO, a quintessential Asian fine dine set in bustling midtown brought modern pan-Asian fare, and Chef Niyati Rao of Mumbai’s famous ingredient-first restaurant, EKAA served interpreted cuisine inspired by ingredients, people, and cultures. For an elevated bar experience, mixologist extraordinaire, Giovanni Depergola aka Mr. G (Co-founder of Liquid Alembic, Dubai) and world-famous bar Salmon Guru came in from Dubai, concocted exotic and sophisticated cocktails with balanced blends.
Speaking on the occasion, Kartik Mohindra, Chief Marketing Officer, Pernod Ricard India said, “Chivas Alchemy is an extraordinary embodiment of craftsmanship & luxury, much like its timeless blend. This year’s edition was a celebration of the seamless alchemy in time between heritage and modernity, in collaboration with 18 maestros of couture, art, music, and cuisine. Through this kaleidoscopic experience, we aim to inspire our consumers to embrace the timeless richness of the legacy as well as the possibilities of the new age, unlike ever before.”
Sunil Sethi, Founder, Sunil Sethi Design Alliance, and co-curator said, “This year, with Chivas Alchemy, we wanted to celebrate the complexity of time in luxury. We created an exquisite convergence of art, design, and luxury, and it was fascinating to see how each of the 18 alchemists brought their splendid style of creativity to the table, making this an unparalleled experience. I am honoured to bring the brand’s vision to life and showcase a curation inspired by heritage and new-age eras of luxury.”
“Chivas Alchemy was a magnificent celebration of craftsmanship and substance, and it was inspiring to see 18 alchemists come together to display their unique perspectives that flit everyone back and forth in time. Through a melange of genres, Chivas Alchemy delivered a swirl of nostalgia, and it has been my pleasure to curate an experience that seamlessly blends art, couture, cuisine and music for those who appreciate the finer nuances of luxury”, said designer Ashish Soni, co-curator of Chivas Alchemy.
