‘Ganapath Part 1’ to release on October 20

The movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam…reports Asian Lite News

The upcoming action-thriller film ‘Ganapath Part 1’, which stars Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon in the lead, has locked its edit.

Tiger, along with director Vikas Bahl and producer-actor Jackky Bhagnani, posed for the camera on the occasion as the film booked its release for October 20, 2023.

The film revolves around the vigilante Ganapath living in a dystopian future and sees him fighting a criminal empire that has grappled his city in fear. He becomes a symbol of hope for the oppressed living in darkness.

Made on a budget of Rs 150 crore, ‘Ganapath Part 1’ also marks the second pair up of Tiger Shroff and Kriti Sanon since the 2014 romantic-action film ‘Heropanti’.

The movie will be released in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

Jackky Bhagnani updated the audience on the film by posting a picture on his Instagram account. The photo featured himself with Tiger Shroff and Vikas Bahl in the same frame lying on a sofa as they completed the final edits of ‘Ganapath Part 1’.

He wrote in the caption, “The feeling when you’ve locked the edit #Ganapath Part 1. See you in the cinemas this Dussehra! #GanapathOn20thOctober 2023! P.S. – @kritisanon we missed you in this picture.”

Director Vikas Bahl is best known for directing the National Award-winning comedy drama ‘Queen’.

‘Ganapath Part 1’ is jointly produced by Pooja Entertainment and Good Co, and distributed by UFO Moviez in India and by Coconut Movies internationally.

Apart from ‘Ganapath Part 1, Tiger also has ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ in the pipeline in which he will share the screen with Akshay Kumar.

‘On my cheat days I prefer having dessert’

You are very disciplined be it your diet, fitness or work as a youth icon do you feel millennials and Gen Z need to be more disciplined about their passions?

I feel it’s all about disciplined, if you are disciplined well, your body will always listen to your mind, it’s like boxer felling down after a punch but mind tells him to get up and fight and body listen.

When it comes to diet you are very strict about what You eat … do you follow a nutritionist and what is does your typical day of meals consist of?

I am a bit finicky about my diet, I try to stick to it throughout the week, except for on Sundays, which is my cheat day. We should allow ourselves to indulge in with favourite junk meals. It eventually helps you in the long run. I try to follow a proper diet and my dietician helps me to stay away from simple carbohydrates like sugar, cakes, sugared drinks, sweets, potatoes, etc. I usually try take more proteins from natural sources and sometimes from whey protein powder too. On my cheat days I prefer having dessert which I love and usually avoid on my normal days.

Both and my work outs as well, you know it connect me to me and its extremely important that you are just yourself when you are in doing it.

Tell us about the collaboration with Prowl and Carrera, what are the brand affinities and what part of your personality do they complement?

Sunglasses play a very important role in my life. As I am an outdoor person who is very shy at the same time, it gives me the perfect window to face the public without feeling too conscious and I wanted to bring a product with which I can personally relate to. My association with Carrera is a very special one. Carrera is a brand that holds great legacy and when the opportunity came to collaborate with a brand this was the first name that came to my mind. It’s a brand that I have admired and used since forever, therefore I chose to associate with a brand that resonates with me and my values and the youth of today.

Your favourite piece from the collection?

The entire collection is my child and choosing would be wrong. I am equally in love with all the pieces from the Carrera x Prowl collection and would choose all the pieces as per the occasions.

It is a new movement I want to bring about in fitness in India.” We catch up with the fitness enthusiasts Tiger Shroff and Soumava Sengupta, CEO of, BUILD to discover more about the thought behind PROWL venturing into the protein supplement space.

What made you pick BUILD. for launching your sports nutrition range?

TS: The BUILD. team shares the same philosophy as me and they have deep expertise in the Sports Nutrition Category. The sports nutrition supplements industry is currently worth over $30 billion worldwide, and though American and European businesses have the lion’s share of the market, India is slowly catching up with the rest of the world due to the rise of high-quality sports nutrition supplement brands. In India specifically, the market is still relatively small with only 10-12 per cent of the population being aware of these nutrition products. However, this is anticipated to change in the coming years as more people become health-conscious and the fitness industry continues to grow.

Kriti celebrates seven years of ‘Heropanti’

‘Heropanti’, is a 2014 romantic action thriller that contributed two young stars to Bollywood. Actress Kriti Sanon took to Instagram on Sunday to reminisce memories of her shooting the film “Heropanti”, as it completes seven years.

The film was directed by Sabbir Khan and marked Kriti and Tiger Shroff’s debut in Bollywood.

The film was a remake of the Telugu film “Parugu”.


She posted a video comprising of pictures of the shoot of the film and wrote about how it was the “best phase” of her life.

The video starts with the picture of her audition day and also showcases the last day of shoot where she co-actor Tiger Shroff ate a full packet of biscuits.

“7 Years of Heropanti, 7 Years in the industry, 7 years of Loving what i do.. Its been a beautiful journey so far, the best phase of my life..These pictures bring back so many memories.. Missing you guys more today @tigerjackieshroff #SajidSir @sabbir24x7 @wardakhannadiadwala @nadiadwalagrandson,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, the actress will be seen in the film “Bhediya” which also stars Varun Dhawan.

The film is being directed by Amar Kaushik, and is slated to release on April 14 next year.

She also has the film “Mimi”, which is based on surrogacy. She will also share the screen with Akshay Kumar in Bachchan Pandey.
