The Real Van Gogh Immersive Experience,” a groundbreaking artistic display set to redefine the way we engage with art. Premiering its experience in Chennai on January 5th, 2024, the experience plans to travel pan India, including major metro and Tier I cities.

This compelling digital art display combines cutting-edge technology, theatrical storytelling, and top-notch animation with the aid of 20k high-resolution projectors, 33 million+ pixels, and 10,000+ square feet of projections.

Beyond the stunning visuals, “The Real Van Gogh Immersive Experience” allows viewers to take a peek into the renowned post-Impressionist painter Vincent van Gogh’s canvases. The experience will bring alive his passionate journey in the world of art through movement, music, and paintings, giving a glimpse of his unique take on visuals. The goal of this immersive exhibit is to offer audiences an opportunity to live through timeless art at par with international standards.

The exhibition will showcase a carefully chosen collection of paintings by Van Gogh, including the swirling brushstrokes of “Starry Night,” “Sunflowers,” “Wheatfield with Crows,” “Irises,” and many more, illuminating every brushstroke and colour with never-before-seen clarity.  It will also feature breathtaking towering projections that reveal the creative genius’s mind. The inclusion of an infinity room, where guests can enter a bizarre dreamscape surrounded by a kaleidoscope of Van Gogh’s masterpieces, is the experience’s crown gem.

‘Van Gogh 360-degree’ in Delhi

From April 14 to 28, Delhi will host Van Gogh 360-degree, an immersive, multi-media event that brought the vibrant colours of Vincent van Gogh’s most famous works to life in Mumbai during a sold-out run.

The exhibit will also make stops in Bangalore, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Jaipur, Kochi, Chandigarh, Bhopal, Lucknow, Nagpur, Pune, Indore, Goa and Surat later in the year.

Van Gogh 360-degree India is the first such exhibition to make its debut in India. Immersive experiences that transform the walls and floors of an exhibition space into a sort of van Gogh dream world have appeared all over the world, from New York to London to Tokyo to Toronto.

Van Gogh 360-degree Delhi, where art and technology collide

Using cutting-edge projection technology crafted by world-renowned audio-visual designers, Van Gogh 360-degree Delhi – presented by DLF and Absolut – will create an engaging journey into the world of the legendary post-Impressionist painter.

Attendees will be immersed in floor-to-ceiling stunning projections animating the masters’ oeuvre and illuminating the mind of the genius. Wandering through giant projections that highlight brushstroke, detail, and colour, the multimedia exhibit takes the attendee into a three-dimensional world that exhilarates the senses.

“Van Gogh 360-degree received a tremendously warm welcome in Mumbai having sold out weeks before we even opened doors, and van Gogh fans and art lovers in Delhi are in for a treat,” says Nikhil Chinapa, India spokesperson Van Gogh 360-degree India, of the upcoming exhibit in the national capital. “The level of interest we’ve received from schools as well as young content creators shows that immersive art is an excellent platform to introduce global art to the younger generation,” he adds.

Registration for all cities opened on January 30 at noon, while tickets for the Delhi exhibition – presented by DLF and Absolut – will be available for sale on bookmyshow.com from February 6.

People who register will be offered a chance to buy tickets on February 6 before public sale begins on February 8.

This Autumn, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, a 360 degree digital art experience, will debut in London. The exhibit invites visitors to step into more than 300 of Van Gogh’s sketches, drawings, and paintings by using floor-to-ceiling digital projections, made possible by state-of-the-art video mapping technology.

As well as the two-story tall central projection area, the exhibition also includes a one-of-a-kind VR experience in a separate gallery. This multi-sensory experience guides the viewer through a ten-minute journey on “a day in the life of the artist”, providing a chance to discover the inspiration behind some of his most beloved works including Vincent’s Bedroom at Arles, and Starry Night Over The Rhone River.

A drawing studio and additional galleries that explore the life, works and techniques of Van Gogh, create a truly immersive experience that provides its audience with a new, intimate understanding of the post-impressionist genius and his work.

The work of entertainment producer Exhibition Hub together with Fever, the leading entertainment discovery platform, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience, first premiered in a cathedral in Naples, Italy, in November of 2017. Since then, Exhibition Hub has presented the experience in Brussels, Beijing and Tel Aviv, and it is currently operating exhibits in Austria and Belgium. Following its success in Europe, the highly anticipated experience will also launch in multiple cities across the US this year, including New York, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Boston & Houston. Animated visuals for Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience were created in collaboration with the world-renowned digital media artists Dirty Monitor whose work has been the centerpiece of events such as the Bordeaux Wine Festival, the Beijing International Film Festival, and the new year’s celebrations at the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Immersive and educational, Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience provides a COVID-safe digital experience and great day out for adults and children alike.

The exact location for the experience will be announced in the coming weeks, but will be a unique and inspirational venue in the heart of the city, with at least 20,000 square-feet of space to enjoy, and 30 foot ceilings.
