Banana Almond Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

  1. Frozen Banana – 2 medium
  2. Almonds – 10 (soaked)
  3. Saffron – ¼ tsp ( in hot water )
  4. Jaggery – 1 tsp
  5. Dates – 3
  6. Cardamom – ½ tsp
  7. Salt – a pinch
  8.  Coconut milk – 1/3 cup
  9. Flax Seeds – 2 tsp

Toppings

  1. Saffron Strands
    1. Toasted Almonds
    1. Dried Rose Petals

Method

  1. Add banana, almond, saffron, jaggery, dates, flax seeds and salt into the blende
  2. Add in the coconut milk and blend starting from low speed and working the speed up slowly until you get a smooth consistency. Scrape down the sides as needed.
  3. Spoon the smoothie into a bowl and add your toppings.
